With our team based in the Netherlands, we carry decades of experience in the development and installtion of unique elevator systems for projects all over the world.
For each of our projects, we work closely with the owner, its design/architecture team and the on-site contractor. By that, the project phases ranging from concept design up to installation and commissioning can be managed in the most efficient manner.
In addition to the answering to all visual design requirements in the project, we also design and manufacture in accordance with locally applicable codes and regulations.
Throughout the production phases of each project, a unique set of practical skills in elevator technology, construction works and cladding come together, all combined ensuring the outstanding quality of the end product.

Production & development capabilities
After an elevator’s technical and visusal design has been finalized by our mechanical engineers and specialists, each elevator is manufactured, assembled and tested in our facilities.
These facilities are equiped with the most modern machinery and test arrangements to ensure optimal quality, compliance and durability of all components.
Besides this, we work with handcraft specialists and artists for unique cladding materials like blacksmith steel and bronze materials.
Glass materials are sourced from specialized partners, where source glass striaght and curved types ranging from ultra-clear glass to glass with mesh integrated and colored glass.
Supporting services
With working on a global scale, global presence in terms of service & support is a key requirement.
Therefore, besides sending over our engineers to the project site to take as-built dimensions and during the installation works, we also work with local partners for further services and assistance of our team. We select such parties together with the client, ensuring the optimal fit.
From that, we have built a dedicated and specialized service network around our projects by which we ensure rapid response on-site.

1. Concept Design
Determination of the project’s requirements and scope of possibilities can be widened based on XEL’s capabilities.Upon determination of the requirements, a concept design is generated.
2. Detailed Design
Detailing & finalization of the unique technical & visual designs.A selection of cladding materials & exchange of samples is included.
3. Production Start
XEL launches the project into production.The production planning is anticipated to the planning on-site.
4. Interface Delivery (optional)
Delivery of interface parts as early as possible to the construction site.Such practice allows for finalization of all works around the shaft, minimization of installation time on site, integration of as-built dimensions in our design.
5. Factory Acceptance & Release
Due to the high degree of innovation in each project, and to ensure optimal functioning and durability, the elevator system/sub-systems are subject to factory acceptance testing before their release.
6. Installation & Commissioning
For our global projects, installation works on site take place under our direct supervision. We work with the contractor on site, or with dedicated companies appointed together with the involved project parties.After installation, we commission the elevator and hand it over to the project owner.
7. Service & Maintanance
Either by ourselves, or by local specialized parties appointed together with the client, service and maintenance works are arranged in an effective manner.
